Paris Hilton, the oldest daughter and heiress of the Hilton Hotel fortune, seems to revel in being the center of gossip. Although Paris did not finish high school and did not go to college, she has dallied with a little bit of modeling, acting, singing, and writing. Mainly, Paris Hilton is the socialite of this generation. Coming from a family legacy, Paris has lived in many estates worth millions.

Paris Hilton was catapulted into fame and scandal in 2004 when a sex tape of her and Rick Salomon was released first on the Internet and then on DVD by Salomon. Salomon was promptly sued, but Paris Hilton was awarded only $400,000 plus part of the profits, which she donated to charity.

Paris has worked as a model and appeared in several commercials, which have paid her handsomely. Her film career has consisted of very small parts in several different movies, but she has only won Worst Supporting Actress Razzie in 2005. Paris Hilton has the lead in future theatrical releases that include Bottom’s Up, and The Hottie and the Nottie. Her television career is probably her most recognizable acting job. She and friend Nicole Richie have starred in The Simple Life since 2003. Paris has also made guest appearances on several other series.

Paris Hilton’s newest venture is an album yet to be released. Supposedly, the album will contain a mixture of different music genres including reggae, hip-hop, and pop. Produced by her own record label Heiress Records, the album is supposed to debut in August of 2006.

Paris Hilton seems to dip into everything with a spot light, but she doesn’t seem to master any of them. However, with millions of dollars at your disposal, who needs to take work seriously?
