Bonjour Laetitia Casta

This French born supermodel began life in a much simpler manner. Growing up in the countryside of Normandy, Laetitia Casta was not thinking of modeling when she had an offer to take test pictures after been discovered while building sand castles on a Corsican beach. Once the pictures were taken, fifteen year old Laetitia was offered a contract with Guess? Jeans and drew attention from Madison models and Elle.

Only 18 years old, Laetitia found herself as one of the foremost models for Victoria’s Secret. She then continued with features in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition for three years in a row. In addition to Cosmopolitan and Glamour, Laetitia has been featured on the cover of over 100 magazines. L’Oreal has also used her in their cosmetics commercials.

In France, Laetitia has been a huge hit in one of the most costly films made in that country. She has also continued her popularity by appearing in a TV movie in her home country in 2000. However, her sudden fame has not gone to her head as she has shown by inviting a homeless man to dinner in her London hotel. Her country has also honored her in 2000 by naming her the “Marianne,” which is the symbol of freedom and is supposed to represent the most beautiful woman of the decade.

Laetitia Casta’s latest news is the expected birth of her second child in September of 2006. The most beautiful woman in France has made a big splash worldwide.
