Pamela Anderson Can’t Help Being Noticed

With such an interesting way of being discovered, Pamela Anderson has not escaped notice since then. Pamela Anderson was put on the wide screen at the football game of British Columbia’s Lions. Of course, everyone cheered and she was brought down to the field. Since she was wearing a Labatt’s Beer t-shirt, they offered her a contract to do commercials for them. With a successful commercial campaign, Pamela Anderson was contacted by Playboy Magazine to do a cover for them. She agreed and since then has been on the cover five times, which is a record for the magazine for any one woman.

Moving to Los Angeles, Pamela Anderson landed the role of the Tool Time Girl on the TV series Home Improvement where she stayed for two seasons. Simultaneously, she was cast on Baywatch, which caused a scheduling conflict, so she left Home Improvement. This was a good choice for her since the show is internationally popular in 140 countries.

Pamela Anderson moved into movies in 1996 with Barb Wire. However, she seems to drift more to TV with the TV movie Come Die with Me: A Mickey Spillane’s Mike Hammer Mystery. She has had her own TV show called V.I.P. for four seasons, 1998-2002. In 2003 Pamela Anderson become etched in cartoon with a series called Stripperella.

Pamela Anderson’s personal life has been a rocky one. Married to Tommy Lee, the drummer from the band Motley Crue, she had two sons before they divorced in 1998. Oddly enough, they continued to date off and on after the divorce until they started battling over custody of their sons. After finding out that she had hepatitis C from sharing a tattoo needle with her ex-husband, Pamela Anderson returned to Tommy Lee.

Meanwhile, Pamela Anderson participates in PETA. Surprisingly, she also teaches Sunday school at her sons’ church even though she still poses for magazines. Pamela Anderson is full of surprises, so we will have to wait to see what’s next.
